- To
participate in team sports, athletes
must be between the ages of 13-16 as
of July 31, 2006.
- To
participate in individual sports, athletes
must be between the ages of 12-16 as
of July 31, 2006.
- Try-outs
are not necessary for individual sports

Be
an athlete
We
Join Team Vancouver in our quest for good
times, great friendships, and maybe some
gold. Remember – all skill levels
are invited! As a host city we can enter
two teams per age category and gender
– so come to the tryouts and give
it a shot… The team sports are:
Basketball and Soccer (6 teams each –
Boys U16 x2, Girls U16 x2, Boys U14 x2),
Volleyball (Girls U16 x2), Inline Hockey
(Boys U16 x2), and Baseball (Boys U14
x2).

We
still are looking for athletes for Individual
Sports – NO TRYOUTS REQUIRED - just
sign up!!! Individual Sports are offered
for local Jewish athletes ages 12-16 for
the following sports: Tennis, Swimming,
Table Tennis, Track and Field, Golf, 10
Pin Bowling, and Dance.
We
are also looking for participants in our
Star Reporter Program!!! Ever wanted to
be a sportscaster or write for your local
paper or school? Come be a part of our
team. For any Individual Sport or Star
Reporter sign-up call Aza or Lu.
Be
a coach
We
are looking for dedicated, youth minded,
experienced coaches to work with our local
delegation athletes, in preparation for
the games. Time commitment will include
tryouts and practices January thru July
(part time) and attendance at the games
August 13 – 18 (full time).
